Joana lends her unmistakable voice to HIDDEN HAVEN - preferably with plenty of reverb! Her vocals touch and inspire the audience, while she effortlessly varies between gospel, soul, jazz and pop on stage. Her bandmates never know exactly what's coming next - but one thing's for sure: it's going to be great!
Her style? Emotional, usually nice and relaxed and “laid back”, but when she gets going, nobody can sit still.
Joana not only brings a lot of improvisation to the game, but also a lot of good humor to the rehearsals. She regularly causes fits of laughter and makes every session a little livelier. When it comes to songwriting, melodies and hooks are her thing - the ideas just bubble out of her.
And because the best moments need to be captured, she always has her camera to hand so that nothing is forgotten.

She also works as a school tutor, holds seminars on gospel music and does voluntary work for ARTHELPS. And if she has any free time left over, she enjoys studying politics, history and culture.
